After I got accepted to the NordSecMob-Masters programme in Security and Mobile Computing, in addition to compliments, I've got a lot of questions. People keep asking me why I chose this program, why I decided to study in Sweden and Finland, why I didn't study in USA, etc. And, it seems like, in their minds, I made a wrong decision to study in Scandinavia instead of USA, UK or even Australia like most of Thai people do. On the other hand, there was no doubt in my mind that it was the right decision to make. I'm just a bit sick of this kind of questions. I just LIKE this program because it offers me a chance to fulfill my passion to study Computer Security. That's all. Do I need any other good reasons? Besides, I just can't be bothered to justify my decision that Sweden and Finland have actually been very innovative in mobile computing and computer security fields. As I cleaned up my desk yesterday, I found a leaflet on Erasmus Mundus scholarship. There is a section called "Why Erasmus Mundus?" which give me 10 good reasons to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship as follows:
I think I'd better print these reasons on small cards and always keep them with myself. From now on, if anyone asks me why I chose an Erasmus Mundus programme and wants some fancy reasons, I simply reply him/her "That's my business" and give him/her one of those cards. LoL ^_^ |
