I'm very happy that I received this e-mail. It is the first letter of acceptance I got from all programs I applied for. What matters is that I am proposed for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship which I long for. I can't believe this is real.

Dear Yannarak Wannasai

I'm happy to inform you that you have been selected to NordSecMob-Masters
programme in Security and Mobile Computing for the intake of 2008. The study
track we propose for you can be found in the eAGe monitoring form. This is
the study track we offer for you and it cannot be changed at this stage.

You are also among the 20 students proposed for receiving an Erasmus Mundus
-scholarship.

We have now sent our proposal for the European Commission about the
scholarship holders. The European Commission decision concerning the Erasmus
Mundus grant holders is expected to be ready in May 2008 (exact date not
available). We can confirm your scholarship only after we have received the
final decision from the European Commission. I will contact you immediately
by email when we have received the official decision from the European
Commission in May. After the confirmation in May, you need to inform us
about your final decision i.e. whether you will join the programme or not.

If you are offered other possibilities (scholarships or study place) which
you prefer, it is very important that you inform us immediately of the
cancellation of your possible scholarship and study place. We can then
propose the scholarship for the next student in the reserve list. In case
that you are offered other possibilities already before May and you decide
to turn down our offer for the NordSecMob-study place, please inform us as
soon as possible.


All selected NordSecMob-students will receive the letters of admission to
the home and host universities in May at the latest. We will also send you
further information about the practical issues a bit later. Usually, the
students can start applying to the residence permit in the beginning of June
once we have confirmed the scholarship decision after the Commission
decision.
